Cake (they/them) is a dedicated and forward-thinking tutor with a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from UCL Institute of Education and a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA). They have a proven track record of helping students succeed, such as advancing complete beginners to intermediate learners in just 6 months. They incorporate modern tools such as Quizlet, Anki, Google Sheets and Capcut to create engaging lessons, and they have experience preparing students for standardized tests like the IELTS and SAT.
